Innovative Application & Delivery Systems for Maximum Efficiency
Roller Application
SIMALFA® can be applied perfectly using a roller. This significantly reduces both time and effort. It takes production to a new level.
Manual Spray Application
Spraying with SIMALFA® guarantees immediate adhesion, fast drying, and seamless production with no interruptions.
What is the difference between 1C and 2C adhesives?
Automated Spray Application
Automated spraying ensures precise and even adhesive application, minimizing material usage and optimizing the bonding process for maximum efficiency.
Easy-2-Spray-System
A system that does it all: SIMALFA®’s Easy-2-Spray System combines adhesive delivery systems and spray gun into one. It’s ready to use immediately and ensures a clean, overspray-free application.
Overspray-free Bonding
SIMALFA® promises clean, overspray-free bonds with maximum efficiency, reduced consumption, greater precision, and pinpoint accuracy using 2C technology.
Easy-2-Pump
The Easy-2-Pump system delivers 2-component adhesives precisely and evenly over long distances, supplying multiple workstations simultaneously. It increases work speed while maintaining consistently high quality.
Free Flow System
The Free Flow System from SIMALFA® combines impressive features: reliable, low-maintenance, and easy installation. Low installation costs and trouble-free equipment changes are guaranteed. Frequently copied but never equaled.
SIMALFA® Adhesive Technologies – Reliable and Unrivalled Since 1990
A 1C adhesive (single-component adhesive) consists of just one component and can be used immediately without the addition of hardeners or activators. The water-based SIMALFA® 1C adhesives are easy to apply and provide strong, reliable adhesion.
The patented SIMALFA® 1C+ technology combines the best features of 1C and 2C adhesives in one system. Easy to use with improved immediate adhesion, it makes bonding challenging materials a breeze. The system significantly increases production output and offers maximum flexibility in foam and upholstery processing.
There is no longer a need for expensive, complex mixing systems or special spray guns. The 1C+ system is perfectly compatible with free flow, pressure, and pump systems. Another advantage: SIMALFA® spray guns can be upgraded affordably at any time.
A 2C adhesive, also known as a two-component adhesive, consists of two separate components that must be mixed before application. This mixture activates the adhesive, ensuring the desired adhesion. 2C adhesives are ideal for demanding applications, such as bonding under stress or bonding non-porous materials like plastics.
Hotmelt Adhesive Applications
Melted adhesive is sprayed onto the substrate, enabling fast and even coverage of large areas.
Melted adhesive is applied to a heated roller, which then transfers the adhesive to the substrate. This method is particularly well-suited for bonding large surfaces.
During extrusion, melted adhesive is pushed through a nozzle to create a continuous line or other specific shapes. Various nozzle types allow for different patterns or line widths.
Small quantities of adhesive are applied in dots or beads. This method is ideal for applications where only specific areas need to be bonded.
Slot dies produce a consistently flat adhesive strip and are often used for bonding web materials or in lamination processes.
Some systems enable adhesive to be applied in a swirl pattern, which often creates a stronger bond and more even distribution.
Handheld glue guns melt and extrude adhesive. They are ideal for craft projects, small repairs, or low production volumes.
