At the inaugural Zurich North Economic Symposium, the ZKB Innovation Award was presented for the first time to the company with the most inspiring innovation in the Zürcher Unterland region. After the presentation of 20 candidates on September 14, organized by the Zürcher Unterland location, the jury selected ALFAPURA® as the winner. More than twenty companies submitted ideas and concepts, with three finalists. Thomas Simmler, CEO of the company, accepted the award at the first Business Symposium Zurich North at the Riverside Congress Hotel in Glattfelden.

What ALFAPURA® stands for
ALFAPURA® is a water-based adhesive line designed to make end products recyclable in line with the Cradle to Cradle® design principle. The ingredients and production of ALFAPURA® have been analyzed scientifically and are safe for biological cycles. Application areas
Adhesives that do not compromise recyclability are becoming increasingly important – a trend reflected in rising demand levels across international markets. ALFAPURA® adhesives are of high quality and are easy to integrate into existing production processes. Our adhesives can be used in the wood industry, for cardboard, hygiene products, and textiles. They are also ideal for the spine gluing of writing pads, notebooks, and tear-off pads due to their elastic, matte adhesive film and almost transparent characteristics.
